Jan leads the marketing team for 31 countries at Alense, which is one of the largest contact lens and eyewear retailers in Europe with more than 3 million shipments per year. In recent years, Alensa has become an omnichannel player and is rapidly adding new brick-and-mortar locations in various European countries. Jan started in online marketing in 2001 and over the years has worked on a number of projects in the Czech market and abroad, including several successful startups, ecommerce and political campaigns. He has implemented a number of campaigns in more than a dozen other countries. He has worked for Elephant Orchestra, ČEZ and Neo@Ogilvy, where he was responsible for clients such as IBM, Air Bank, Intersport and Nespresso. Some of these campaigns went on to win EFFIE awards or reach the Cannes Lions shortlist.
